All things considered, those are some very nice bottles you got for your troubles. Filling bottles this way seems to have been a solution to a cold winter's night dilemma back in the age of outhouses.

great finds for sure . i would love to find pits with bottles full like yours . just clean them out no big deal . your digging in waste anyways . the bottles are neat . keep digging the pee will not hurt you . several cities i dig in the pits are dipped
consider your self fortunate to have bottles in the pit

It was not as fun as you would imagine. It was very funny though. Poor guy was so sick he could not get out of bed to pee, but as Bill inspected them and dumped pee on himself I just threw my head back and laughed my a$$ off. The bottles i took are still in the back of my truck full of pee. I have yet to figure out exactly how to approach the cleaning and emptying of the pee.
