Hello all !

I've been looking at these next ten weeks or so coming up as a time where I hope to dig and dive quite a bit.

My first time out (ok, third time out, but first time finding anything) was a fairly large hillside dump, that had been dug before. It was behind an old house, but most of the trash was 1890-1940. I probed all around, and peeled up some chicken wire, and found a small pocket of what seemed to be a small barrell full of pontil aged stuff, some of it really nice, but all broken, exept for a small aqua puff. I dont think anyone had found the pocket, but it appeared that everything had been crushed in place, unfortunately.

It was good to get a little aqua sided puff, little lip chip, and very fun to dig through some real old big stuff.

That would be enough potential for me, especially on a slow day. Broken glass begets whole glass, sometimes....

Hmm, these wont be very fun pictures to look at if they're all this size. I took them on my G3 type cell phone, and when I go to download them on to this site it says File is Too large. The only way (so far ) that it will take them is if they are shrunk like this. See if I can find a better way.

anyways, those bases were all in a pocket, Dyottville, Stoddard base etc

This one would have been a POTTER AND BODINE FRUIT JAR PHILA

The top and bottom was there, no middle :{
