Shocked me to see this survive in the hole, pretty bad cracks but I will keep it as a example.

Nice find Daniel , shame it wasn't good . I have seen under glass labels in pharmaceutical or druggist bottles but never anything like this . I would keep it too regardless of the damage . Thanks for the post , I enjoyed viewing it.

That's a neat find. Sadly, LUG bottles can't take being buried, especially where water can get to them, ruining the glued on glass over the label. Ideally, it would look like the one on the left in this photo.
