I just found this site and got registered today. I've been digging bottles since last spring. Here is a pic of the first good bottle I found. Its a Hayner whiskey from Troy, Ohio. It has a patent date on the bottom of Nov. 30 1897. If this post works, I'll have plenty more to show Y'all. Thanks for looking

This old 1993 book is great for locating bottles but don't trust the pricing (also age of book).
Find Hayner Whiskey, distiller Troy Ohio Light Amethyst 11 1/2" high value $5.00 to $10.00.
Put it out in the sun and it should turn Amethyst. If it does you will know it is pre about 1915 or so.

Hey Mike, Nice Bottle.
Be aware that sudden temperature changes crack glass.
I'd hate to see you lose one.
