Well I didn't buy the fluted flask. It ended up selling for $408.00.

This flask was most likely made by Emil J. Larson of Vineland NJ in the 1930's. Larson worked as a blower for Dorflinger Glass before losing his job. He later joined three other men and made glass for Durand in 1924. Larson was the gaffer in this shop. After Durand closed in 1931 Larson did some blowing for Wheaton. By the mid-30's he was blowing his own glass in a one pot shop in Vineland. Larson did many reproductions of Stiegel glass and this flask appears to be one of those.

I just held an authentic one of these a couple weeks ago and the color on the original is different then this picture. It’s a more mellow shade of amethyst. And very thin and lightweight. Also I believe the pattern was a bit smaller on the original.

I am going to post some pictures of flasks I have.I'd like everybodies opinion.I know the vaseline glass flask is a repro no doubt, but for the price I paid and the way it glows under blacklight I practically stole this piece. The others came from other auctions and I think they are Emile Larson flasks ,very thin and light and the colors are correct.
