Nothin' much here but water, trees. No evidence of civilization whatsoever. A Rusty can started me searching. Found my first cure. 12 sided, 5 3/4" tall. What the heck is Spavin? Or should I ask. Rare?
Spavin I believe was a disease of the joints and flesh of horses. I dug 3 spavin bottles last year. One was like the amber one you have, and the other two were embossed. "KENDALL"S SPAVIN CURE FOR HUMAN FLESH". Its pretty potent stuff. I forget what the alcohol content was but it was pretty high. Just type in spavin on yahoo and you should find a lot on it. Nice finds, probe all around that site. You might be on the top of the dump. Some dumps go pretty deep. Good luck. Jason
Spavin in humans is shin splints. Some doctors prior to the 1920s called knockneed children spavined and did all kinds of torturous things to them to "cure" them.[&:]
Spavin is a hard boney knot that developes on the inside of a horses leg after it has a sprain or over strains the leg. It is usually taken care of by minor surgeory now days.
You can consider it a spavin cure a quack medicine on hourses or humans.[sm=lol.gif]
Spavin is swelling/bony lump in the Hock, on the inside of the front legs it is usualy a splint on the splint bone (one of the small Metacarpal's, I get them mixed up [&:] ).
I've had a few horses with splints, none with Spavin of any sort though (long may it stay that way [] ).
