Sorry no bottle just some interesting info from an old book from 1937 found at the local dump in the freebie barn. Its a book titled "More Forgotten Towns Of Southern New Jersey" by Henry Beck. I love reading these kinds of books as they are filled with lots of good info on where things were way back when and where to hunt for relics today. I learned from this book that there was a tradition when planting trees I thought all of you might like to know about. Apparently bottles of whiskey were placed in the hole when a tree was planted. Next hurricane it might be a place to look for a flask if its an old one in the town center. That's all I have for you. Has any one here found a bottle this way?
