So... I don't usually go on Etsy, although I have found some nice bottles on there from time to time. Here's my latest find from the site. A WWII-era Pineapple grenade, owned by a MP officer who protected Bob Hope at one point (at least that's what I was told). I was surprised by the condition, usually they're completely rusted over. The grenade is roughly 1-2 pounds I would say, and has a stand that unscrews. I paid extra to get the paperwork and the owner's badge.

Finally stopped raining so I could take some outside pictures.

As cool as I think it is, I don't collect military weapons. I'd be better off with cash and it'd be better off with a collector who could fully enjoy it.

I also found this picture on a military site when looking for more information about the man. Circa 1969. I'm not positively sure if it's the same guy, they do look similar though [8|]

I love that leather case..there's something about old leather that's still in good shape that I likes....no..not chaps...
