You have the best digging spot of any forum member I can think of, Dan.. I'm always so impressed with your digs and I am very happy for you!!! I'm sure with all the great bottles you're pulling out of that site all the time, it wouldn't have any real impact on your collection if you pack up that Carl Conrad bottle and send her my way! Thanks Charlie. What you call a collection is only an acumulation though. Sure, I have a number of colored bottles in the kitchen window but there is nothing that I wouldn't let go of. As for the Conrad I will put in the tumbler for a couple of days and then put it on ebay. Most of my bottles go there and hopefully someone else can appreciate it more than I could. Now digging on the other hand is my passion. I love the excitement of never knowing what the next shovel of dirt will produce.

Nice digs! The Conrads were abundant this winter on auction sites, but still reached around a Franklin each; I think your Danville beer is the best by far, and a real Keeper!

Thanks Garrick. $50 is good and as far as the Danville beer, it does have a chipped lip which should bring the price down a bit. It then becomes a keeper for someone else as I really don't have a space for one in my collection, ah I mean acumulation.

I knew you were gonna pull a BUD outta there! It looks alot like the unembossed one you dug a few weeks back, doesn't it? That's pretty cool you dug a lex. ky. druggist all the way over there. The Simrall is not as easy to get as alot of them from here. One of the most Rare lex. ky. druggists is a J.B. Simrall with monogram... but in amber. There is also a Richardson and Simrall without monogram in emerald green. Here's my large amber Simrall... as well as my Best local druggist!

This one is along way from home, it is a Chillicothe,Ohio bottle. I have dug a bunch of them in different variants in Chillicothe but never dug another anywhere else in Ohio or the midwest for that matter. Weird they are turning up in Virginia. Nice digs.

Another Dieter's barrel mustard with a ground top circa 1890.

Dan that is just one super site that you have to dig. If I had a dump like that I would dig 24/7. Have the wifey bring in food and water. Tie out ol' Harley the Black Lab for company and dig, dig, dig. Great job. Enjoyed the post. The only thing close to pulling those bottles out of the ground is reading about them in a post on the forum. Good Luck on your next outing. Buster.

That Bud is a great looking bottle. I'd be proud to have it even if it wasn't worth a dollar.
