G or C Lomax soda

I was looking for any info on this Lomax soda. I have seen the "G" Lomax but have not read much about the "C" Lomax type. It clearly is a "C" to me and not a "G". Any info would help!

Tod's site lists it under George but he also has it as a C. Lomax so I'm confused...

This pic makes me think the mold may just have been clogged up with gunk when it was blown and the G wasn't completely filled with glass...

To my eye that looks like an upside down "G". Mold error?

I read some older posts on here about a "C" Lomax sodas existing. Maybe its something to do with the bottle mold? It just looks to clean to be a cloged mold? But what do I know. Thanks for the reply.

It's very possible that's what happened, the only reference I find to a C. Lomax are these bottles, there was also a J.A. Lomax from Chicago along with George. Hopefully someone knows more, welcome to the forum... Jim

Also seems to have a large wide top, for a blob. Was wondering why that is?

Just the style lip that the glass maker liked to put on that particular type of bottle, it is a great looking hunk of glass...[]
