Ge water jug

Here is a recent find of mine. Its a GE monitor top refrigerator water jug. From what ive read, it must have been a promo of the early GE's. The front center has an embossed pic of a monitor top frig, the top has the word WATER embossed in big letters. The base has the phrase, For Use With The General Electric Refrigerator. The back has increments of 1 cup, 2 cup and 3 cup...Not sure of the year, I know the GE monitor top was made from 1927 till 1935. I wished i knew of someone who had a frig like that, perhaps they would like to have it.

yo x, my buddy al dug a few of those, cool bottles!! im guessing 1940s they go for big bucks at antique stores, it would be cool to have a collection of different brands most likely all made by owens illinois nice mike

I really like those big ol' water bottles. I like the Hemingray made ones, some nice colors in those!
