General Identification Question

Hello,
I am a new collector and recently bought a lot of bottles. I am trying to find out more about them but am finding it Impossible to identify the ones that just have numbers on the bottom without any writing on them.
I know the seam trick to tell whether its 1900s or pre, and am becoming familiar with the shapes, but any other tips?
