Two weeks ago I got some nice ebay pickups. I got these two rare Rhode Island bottles! Ebay has been on the slower side, so it was nice to see some harder to find stuff. The Girard Spring Water (and Blood Purifier) I saw on an online auction with a starting bid of $100 (no one bid on it, though). This bottle is actually scarce, not rare.
Girard Spring water was first bottled in 1895 by Joseph Baker in North Providence. The company is still in business and you can buy Girard Spring water, though it no longer claims to purify the blood.

The Nelens Cafe bottle is a nice 1/2 pint. I couldn't find any info on it, but it's listed as rare.

I posted this in the wrong section, so I'm moved it here.

hotel, bar, cafe, and similar establiment bottles are interesting. They show some history in a more obvious way than many other bottles..
