Came across this catch, it's about 12" in length, thought it might be old, not sure. Would like to know more about it, if anyone has information on it.

I wonder if it could be some decorative piece from the 40s-60s ? I don't have a clue! HOPE I NEVER CATCH ONE THOUGH![8D][:)][:)]
