I prefer to dig the bottles in my collection...but sometimes you just run across a deal on a sweet local bottle you just can't pass up. Got this PRESTON OF NEW HAMPSHIRE smelling salts bottle in teal color for $7.35. The bottle is mold-blown circa 1890-1900. I have seen these bottles sell for up to $45 on ebay in the past. A nice addition to my local antique bottle collection.

You dont normally see them with the cap. They had a stopper too didnt they?

yes they did have a stopper...however, this one did not have one with it....only the original cap....I will eventually find a stopper to go with it though.
