I wish I had a fabulous bottle to share, but I don't :( .... however I do have something close...

Top shelf of the previous photo, front and center... my Sandwich Star and Punty molasses, 1840-1860 ... you better not tell me this one was made in Jamestown last week too lol...

Well VintageCaroline, I like the making skill shown in your jug. I m sure that it cost some real dollars to make it. So you no doubt got a bargain when you bought it. My better half and I went to the Jamestown Glass House years ago when I was traveling allover the world visiting glass making companies. We even bought a little cream pitcher, sugar cup and a third piece as a set. It has occupied shelf space in our cabinet for over thirty years I would guess, and it is a similar green glass set. Watching them make the pieces was what I enjoyed. A good place to visit. As it the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, N.Y.
