I found this old bottle at a second hand store a year or so ago. It is a bluish green with a few large air bubbles. The label, to the best of my deciphering skills, says
”Mixed Pickles from
H. G(C)orden &Company
By ????? Warrant
Purveyors to his majesty the King
(N?)ewton Leeds
London, England.”
The bottom appears to have three letters a W H T or W K T, not very clear.
It is 6.5” tall and 3.5” across the bottom. The neck opening is 2”.
Since there were only kings before 1837, I think the 1800’s are definitely out.
Which leaves 1901-1952, when there were kings instead of queens?
Just making sure I can keep using it as a vase without worrying about ruining any value.
