Gurrier's Tablets

This machine-made bottle is amber, 7" tall, with labels on the front & back. The sides are embossed in cursive: 'Gurrier's Tablets', then in smaller block letters: 'HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA'. There is no cap.

The price on the front label is $5. The pills are for the neutralization of gastric hyperacidity.

The address on the back is : 1460-1462 N. Vine Street
Los Angeles, Calif.

Does anyone have any info on this bottle? As an Alabama soda bottle collector, it's an odd thing for me to find.

It's, actually Currier's Tablets. The AMA were not fans. Not fans, at all.

Interesting as an example of the post Pure Food & Drug shenanigans, that are still going on...
