David Scott owned the store in 1875 at least and James Frost sold it to Edward Moulton about 1887 so it's somewhere around there. I can't find when Frost bought it.
Here's an interesting to me thing about reusing bottles. The flask is attributed to Westford 1857-73 but with a Moulton label. 77. Star And "Traveler's / Companion" - Sheaf Of Wheat Flask; medium olive amber, quart, GXIV-1, some exterior wear, retains labels which reads "From / Moulton's Pharmacy / Successor To / James H. Frost, / 399 Main Street, Cor. Mechanic, / Worcester, Mass.".
Thanks for the nomination Mitch. I only remember researching a James H Frost bottle that was in Natick MA. That store went back in after a fire in 1874 and the whole block was rebuilt. You got me looking a bit further and finding a bit more.I think it still stands as a home style pharmacy as Jones drug store today, not a CVS or Walgreens, I haven't been that way in some time now. Rather amazing and very pleasant I think.if it is. []It was in my neighborhood.
