Has any bottle collectors every seen or know anything about this bottle? This is a head scratcher. I dug this bolttle a long time ago and I have never found out anything about it. It measures 6 and 7/8 inches high, 3 inches around at the base and 4 inches around at the top. It has swirls outside top to bottom except for the top of the lip The lines in the swirl are a complete line from the bottom to the top of the neck. I believe it to be hand blown as it does not feel perfectly round? The mouth has been ground for a glass stopper. I would be glad to know any history on this.Im thinking its a type of shampoo bottle but just guessing [attachment=1013233_1020250457...1_1177429614_n.jpg] [attachment=556001_10202504632..54_2112540716_n.jpg] [attachment=1622614_1020250462...6_1687114689_n.jpg]

I would think that it held some kind of nice smelling material. Very nicely done. I think shampoo as we know it is a more recent invention than this bottle. It's too big for perfume. I like the bath salts idea. I know my wife would want it in her collection of creams and lotions.Good luck with the hunt. Scott
