It almost happend or could have, back in 2005 my dad and ex step mom lived in a part of town where out back was a wooded area and a stream, I used to go out there all the time, than they fell behind on rent and lost the place so I never went back when it was reowned the next summer some kids found a dead body by the stream, which I likely would have found as it was in the area I hung out at and explored quite often. It was weird and sad cause I remember the guy was old and had all sorts of health problems, he just wandered off and had a heart attack.

I also used to find illegaly shot wild life ( as in killed and gutted out of season.) dumped over the bank on a dirt road,by places I dig but that was years ago.

Not humans, but horse heads, legs, cow legs etc, but even got a couple lucky horseshoes too.

I've found tons of bones and stuff that a butcher would've thrown out... They were hacked cleanly with a saw. I'm talking, femurs, vertebrae, etc.

I don't think they were human bones, but one never knows for sure... [:-]

Clam and I dug this mandable a few months ago. We suppose the dwelling was a doctors office or dentist office. We didnt find any other human bones and figured it might have been a teaching/learning object. The context of the privy was probably late 1850's -1860's. Still kind of creepy just looking at a pic.
