This is from 1896 and was found behind a wall in an old house.

I can't imagine what a two sided full page add would cost today, thank you for sharing.
It's so cool what lurks in walls. Well sometimes. Mice and other critters aren't that great. []

It's probably not a newspaper ad. A lot of medicines were wrapped with advertising like this... or it could simply be a flyer handed out at a medicine show?

Looks to be a page out of an almanac produced by them. Very common for patent med makers at the time.

Good point, the size of the paper would help. I was thing a magazine ad, not a newspaper.
