Recently joined the group. I've collected a few bottles over the years but just started really seeking out soda (pop for us Midwesterners) bottles this year. Mostly looking for Minnesota and western Wisconsin bottles, but always looking for anything interesting or old. Here are a few pics of my favorites and recent finds. Have to work on my photo skills during the day. The blue one is Glovers Distemper and the other embossed is Barkers Drug Store in Bemidji. It's a thrift store now!

Nice grouping and your early photography skills are good. Love that Glovers. (My Glovers is a duller green.) Welcome to our bottle gang.

Your Glover's is a reproduction made for gift/flower shops some years back. They come in other colors as well, but the originals were all amber. They do add color to a display.

I thought it looked too nice to be really old. What an odd subject for a reproduction

Hey Jrfalen, Does yours have a three digit mold number or anything else on the base? ...Does anyone know who made these repros? Thx. --CT LEN

It has 412 on the base, that's the only other marking I see.

Looks like the ones on ebay that show the base have the same 412 number. A couple of these blue ones sold for $ 45 - $50, another was $120 buy it now and sold for an unknown offer. Could have been $5 for all I know. I'd like to find out more about them too

I dug out my green one (not so dull after all) also has the 412 base marking. --Got mine at a flea market about 25 years ago for a buck. --I'm ever so slightly disappointed but "Cest la vie."
