Found these 2 bottles on Horn Island, MS. The big red one is about 7" tall. The only markings on this one are at the bottom and say "S&D 27". The little blue bottle is about 4.75" tall. This one says "FAMOUS PRESCRIPTION 100384". I am going to try to attach some pictures below.

Welcome to the forums Doug. Both items appear to be pharmacy / Drug Store related and date from the late 1800s to early 1900s. The amber is about worthless as a collectible. The aqua piece is very interesting. I know nothing of it. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable will chime in. It's not listed in Matt Knapp's very informative book, as far as I could tell, which is a good thing for value.

Thanks for all the info. Does that make the Muller's bottle 1915 or earlier? Cool story. Any idea of value?

That was just one suit, there may have been more, fines were cheap. I'd guess right around that time. The bottles with Muller's embossed don't fetch much and these are probably less.

The Sharpe & Dohmes Amber bottle would have had a paper label. Dates from around the 1920's give or take. Best for the recycling bin unless you found a paper label to slap on & display. The Prescription bottle dates from about 1915 or before and would also have had a paper label with the Muller's name. Also not much value.

Oh, I see. Aren't you pleased that the 5 minute edit rule apparently didn't transfer from the Blue Pages. [8D]
