I thought it might be from the old Dog River Repro people, but they don't show one in color. It's definitely a repro, no way that pontil is real. There apparently are also some Chinese contractors out there now as well, but the websites aren't easy to find. Jim G
I think it's a real pontil but done in modern times is all. The whole thing looks like a reproduction but fairly well done. In the old days they got made and some went so far as burying them for a time to make them look "more real".
I posted this one a while ago. Was reportedly made at Vicksburg Mississippi. I have actually seen several on EBay being passed as the real deal. I have not seen the pickle though. Mitch

I collected CATHEDRAL bottles for a few years and yep a repro.if it wan't would be worth a good chunk of money cause of color , pontil and mint. SILL A GREAT DECORATIVE PIECE! Worth the $25 to me..JAMIE
