This is a jug that I dug out of a Fort Worth dump back in 1975 and I have never been able to get a value on it. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dale
Hi Dale and Welcome ---
Could you please post the entire print on the side of this so that we can run some searches on this, if possible. I'm not saying that we can pinpoint this, but the more info. the better chance that more members can help. Thanks.
Ps - It's also hard to tell what size it is also. Could you please post the W. X H.?
The jug is 10" tall and the width is 6 1/2". The jug reads, "Royal Salad Dressing", then it says,
"The Horton-Cato MFG, Co.
Windsor, Canada-Detroit, Mich."
It may not help much, but the site below has a clear glass bottle variation from this company.

Okay, checking Betty Zumwalt's book, on page 73, it lists this glass bottle and your jug. The bottle is listed as common, but your jug lists like this in the book...
Var: same embossing on two-tone brown jug, gal. size, very rare - 35*
I am located about 4 miles south of Luling. No, I don't know anyone from Abilene. I am orginally from Dallas, but have lived down here for the past 16 yrs.
