Would appreciate identifying bottle. It stand 9 inches tall and is 3½ inches across the bottom. It appears to be made from 4 pieces and has the word "PATENT" and no other markings that I can see. Does anyone know what, where, when and how much? Thanks Fred

Hey Fred, It is a patent whiskey, probably scotch that was made sometime between the early 1860 to the middle 1870s. They are usualy worth $5 to $10 in really good shape. It would look good cleaned up and is a very nice bottle. You see alot of them around Civil War camps.

Civil War collectors like these bottles since they are so often associated with Civil War camps. Would probably bring $20 listed as a Civil War collectible.
