Hello All, Found this lid awhile back and am wondering what it's from. It's a little to big for a midget jar and seems a little to small for a regular mouth jar. Embossed Apr. 10 1900. Nice purple color. Any ideas? Thanks

I thought about that but this lid doesn't say Lyons and looks like it's top embossed. That's why a went with Flaccus, 1010 I think it was but I put the book back already.

according to the fruit jar works vol. 2 the lyon jar lid only has Pat April 10, 1900 on it with lids being found in clear & in milk glass also various sizes, they had a grove in lid for wire clamp. These were product jars circa 1900 with the maker unknown. Patent #647,233 issued april 10 1900 to julian p. lyon of detroit mich.
