Hemingray #9, 12, 40, 42, 45 Aqua/Clear but what about the Brown ones in the back?

In front row from right to left we have A Hemingray #9 aqua, #12 aqua, #40 aqua, #40 aqua, #42 clear, #42 clear, #45 clear.Does anyone know about the brown ones in the back? The last one that is brown and gray has a stamp it is a large C with ss inside it and 930 to the right.

Bert, all of those are of minimal value I'm sorry to say. The colored ones may have a bit more value, perhaps up to $5 if they have what insulator collectors call "inclusions" that being rocks, sand, metal, contrasting color streaks etc., anything that was not intended. If any of those have significant inclusions, like a nail or coin, they would bring BIG BUCKS. The brown ones are of a little more interest but still have little value, perhaps $5 - $10 to the right collector. They have a specific name for the shape that I cannot recall at the moment. The #9 does have about 5 pen head sized white dots within the glass in the top part of the dome is that the kind of thing you are talking about?

It is. If one or more of those were dime sized or larger it would be worth maybe $20. Otherwise it's worth perhaps a buck or two.

The porcelain insulators (brown ones) don't have any value to speak of...those are very common styles. If they ever end up having value I know where there is a pile of thousands. Some of the rarer styles or colors of porcelain insulators have value but not these.
