YO!! Mikey likes the Cunder! The others ain't no slouches, either. That Renz looks familiar. I dug an identical one back in the '70s and sold it at the old Oakland Bottle Show.
Boy do I wish that I had dug these! I had to use alot of "green" to get the green. A guy named "Lou" dug the Renz's I was told. Hmmmm, I wonder who that is? It's a killah!
westernglassaddict has very good taste in bottles. I know, I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to acquire some of his pieces. We both share a passion for early western bitters.
The Western bitters we've seen recently on the forum are fine examples of Western glass, but I've always preferred the (more affordable) Western medicines and jakes.
That is an awesome , and rare Western medicine. I know of only two. I also have a weakness for the meds and jakes...and whiskeys, and spices, and ammonias, and Western wines, and mineral waters from S.F.oh... and the Western umbrella inks. So you can see I specialize too. Just the few bottles actually blown in the West. That is it, so I guess my moniker describes me as a true addict. I need to form a support group....GA maybe.
