I dug this one the other day; it is a lighting jar...yes, however it is very small. I think it is smaller than a pint. I would be grateful for any input from you avid jar collectors out there. I did dig the lid with it as well.

If its a "trademark Lightning" in 1/2 pint these were salesman's samples and in red book 9 (#1489) are listed at 150-200 if all intact. Not having the bail would reduce the value a bit.

I always liked those little jars. I tried to buy one off a collector one time after inspecting the jar I realized that the lip had a resin repair on it. Needless to say the owner was not happy because he did not spot it when he purchased it.
