Till this baby gets sold, I'm a high end ink dealer! [8D] Forgive this shameless plug.

Two names come to mind. Tim Buda (tbuda@shianet.org) of the Flint bottle club and Keith Leeders (thinkink9@sbcglobal.net), from Illinois.
If you need either phone number, email me.
Bill.

I have dug pontiled inks of every color and form out here in CA. Lots of folks of all walks of life came to California in the boom days of the Gold Rush and along with them came a shipload of inks. i have none for sale at the moment but that could change ay any time. BTW, I have never sold an ink for ANYWHERE near 2 Gs.

When we were digging in Brooklyn in 1979 we dug an ink that I have not seen another of to this day. Round, OP embossed "Metsger's Ink". It sort of looks like the Cinci Butler. I haven't seen that bottle for many years and don't know who of us has it at this time. We jokingly call it our $3000 ink 'cause that's what it cost the group of four to fly to and from, stay and eat around the state for a few weeks. Many pits succumbed to our probes and shovels on the trip. Too many bottles to mention.[:D]
