Honey flask with embossing on bottom

I recently got this from ebay. I did not notice the bottom until I received it. What a surprise.

Nice find indeed... Got a small amber strap side with a star embossed on it today...

RW, I didn't go up and get out the clear flasks but here are 4 I had handy to get pics of, I just got the half pint 'Star' this morning and didn't clean it out yet... Let me know if anything interests you...Jim

haha They all do! Do you have any info on who produced the Star Flask?

It cleaned up great, the only mark on the bottom are two dots, not sure what that signifies.

Very interesting bottom. The dots look to be quite round, so I think they were for marking the maker and not venting. Vent dots are usually tapered because ot the pointed tool and wire used to clean them of swabbing oil dirt. Nice bottles you get Jim - if your selling this one let me know. RED Matthews
