Yeah, it was on my "to dig" list. Every since I saw one on a privy diggers website I've wanted to dig one. As soon as I saw it, I knew exactly what it was! One of my books lists one in cobalt at four to five hundred bucks! Man, that would be a neat dig there! Chris Capley

I love the cobalt blue one's. They are very display worthy...but by the looks of that ebay listing, they ain't cheap are they?!

The blue ones are ABM. I sold one a few years ago on eBay, I think I got about $100, it was the small size though.

Here are my gargling oils. There aren't any seams on the blue one; how do you know they are all ABM?

Look at the base Annie. If it's machine made there will be a mark on the bottom called an Owens ring. Let's see a pic of the bottom and we can let you know if it's machine made or not... Chris Capley
P.S. Nice Display!

I don't know why I didn't check out the base - I guess it is ABM, as it has a number 5 on the base. I like it because it is a very deep cobalt blue.

We occasionally dig pontilled oned in local Gold Rush camps, but they are usually "Lockport green" or teal colored. I actually dug one having a red oxide pontil scar, but most have the open pontil.
