I picked this jug up at a local antique shop after noticing some stenciled lettering that I recognized under the paint. Sure enough, it was a scarce local jug! The paint stripping process is slow-going, but so far it is working well!

Cant wait to see it all cleaned up. I will have to pay closer attention when I come across ones like that.

Hello RIBottleguy, What are you using to strip the paint ? There are several different paint strippers that should make this an easy project and less time consuming. Or is it due to not wanting to remove the existing lettering ? Just curious and always learning from other members. Nice Jug !! Kevin...
