An iron false teeth mold last summer, today I was picking around the same dump in another pit and found a bottom set of false teeth, there really small like for a child the mold was bigger than the set I found. A cogshell in a 1930's dump in VT. a cows tooth and other cow bones near a rusty old grinder.

Dug a jar in a 1950s dump full of raw sewage. Pipes must have blocked up at some point. Lid disintegrated as soon as I pulled it out. Threw it on the ground, and flies immediately swarmed it.

This is a great subject, I have a weak stomach and that raw sewage would have made me lose my lunch. Gross! If underwater counts, plenty of weird devices, and VHS tapes of the non disney kind. Outside of that is what I think is the name plate to a coffin or something to indicate this gentelman died. I have actually found a historian of the NH town where I found this who will be getting this in the spring.

Interesting. I always assumed that such, uh, items, didn't come on the market until the common availability of latex. Redware sounds both cold and unyieldingly hard... Glass the same plus WAY too brittle unless a solid pour.

Tom, Ive heard of people finding dildos before in pits and one in a dump. your the 3rd now ive heard about. 2 ceramic ones and one was glass, one of the ceramics was even double headed from what I was told lol. All pre 1900.

Rick, can you post pictures of that bear claw again. I was thinking about it and it might be a boar tusk.
