I wanted to know if anyone here could identify this Louis Taussig whickey bottle for me. I have the Bill & Betty Wilson Spirits book, and the bottle show in there that is similar to this one has "Net contents 25 ozs" embossed on the front shoulder, and this bottle does not have that. This bottle also has an internal threaded tooled top, instead of the cork top. It does have a very faint "Union made" diamond shape seal near the base on the front, but it is almost not noticable. I thought the union seal was worn down by tumbling, but the rest of the embossing is so stronge, I really doubt it.
Anyway, I just thought someone here might have seen this bottle before, or have different whiskey bottle book and be able to tell me the est. date this bottle was used/ value. I doubt it is valued at much since it is a tooled top and Taussigs don't seem to be very popular.
