In the post I put up awhile ago about the insulators I had in a plastic tub in the basement, I id'd one of my insulators as a 160...it's actually a 162.1...
here are the specs after spending about 5hrs reading lee brewer articles, measuring over and over, using a loupe etc...

The different heights/widths and even the weight are exact to the specs i've found on glassian.org and insulators.info.
it's an olive-ish green with light green in it and amber. if you look up through the pinhole the entire dome is full of amber streaks and swirls can't see them looking from top because the glass is so dark...
also a backwards 7 emboss on top....
Front skirt emboss: brookfield
rear skirt: new york (no period)
debris like crazy in this thing
big bubbles
champagne bubbles
the E embossed over the K in brookfield (im sure that's just janked up mold/embossing)
and some whittling...
it's one of the square top ones.

I was reading a Lee Brewer article about being on the hunt for it..

with a bright light behind it, looks like the lower left one in this pic...just a little bit lighter than the lighter green on this one.but dark like the rest...

http://www.cjow.com/archive/2004/11tophat05.jpg

a link to the article...

http://www.cjow.com/archive/article.php?month=11&a=11The%20Top%20Hat%20Signal.htm&year=2004

i'm going to email Lee Brewer and see what he thinks...

crazy....
I'll see if i can get some pics that get the amber and stuff...

By all means, please post a photo!

Sounds like a nice insulator. I'd be curious to see what Lee says. He's an outstanding guy and I'm sure he'll steer you straight.

BTW, current book value for a 162.1 in olive (I think that's what you're describing) is 20-30, but having bubbles and swirls it could generate more interest.

it's kind of a 2tone... inside on a table with natural light coming in it looks almost black on top, yellow/green on the bottom.
with the sun shining directly through it, the center looks yellow/green and the sides are dark. here are some pics....

inside the house on a table with normal room lighting..

here's what it looks like with artificial light, in a lightbox white background....
i'm leaning more toward this color. the light is bright, direct and even around a neutral background....

folds, whittling, amber, debris, milk... it's a reverse 7... not too many collect them though.. I spoke with Lee (great guy to talk with) and he says he's pretty much the only person he knows who specializes in collecting them...

suggested to start an auction 40-50...we'll see.

here's what it looks like in a lightbox with even lighting from all sides....
i like the 2liter pop bottle trick Lee told me about....
that way you don't get any disturbance from it sitting on the "ground". light can hit it from all sides.

this is with just my Canon PowerShot SX10 IS. turn on, focus, shoot...

i put it up for 39.99 or 34.99..can't remember..and had a watcher within 10mins...
it is a gorgeous piece of glass...

a few more pics.....

I also have a cd-145 Brookfield in a almost yellow-green. I call it beetle spin green...same color as the old beetle spin lures.
a huge string of milk from bottom of the base to almost the top and it ends in a big snotty looking tied knot.
carbon/amber/debris...
and the shop number embossing is sweet..
it's a 6 with a backwards six over the top of it...i thought it was a 08 until Lee looked at it and sent me examples.

an HGCO in Hem Blue...basic 'defects' in that one...

i like the two im going to post...
both are hemingray-42's...

one is the front skirt blot out (hemingray - 42). you can make out most of hemingray, but then there's no - and 42 is way to the right....made in u.s.a. is perfectly fine...

the other one is the exact opposite.
hemingray - 42 is fine, but the Made in U.S.A. is blotted.
you can make out Made then a faint i and semi strong N. U.S.A. is almost gone. You can make out the faint shapes but that's it.

now the Made in u.s.a. blot

i like all of the little nuances. carbon, huge bubbles, fizzy bubbles, debris, over pours, folds, whittling...all of it...even on the super common ones...
