I'm new to all of this, I got a mason jar

I'M NEW AT COLLECTING BOTTLES AND THIS SITE. I HAVE A NUMBER OF BOTTLES THAT I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT. THE ONE THAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT NOW IS A MASONS PATENT NOV30TH 1858. THERE IS A PINTAIL ON THE BOTTOM AND THE SEAM GOS UP TO THE LIP, STOPS AND CONTINUES UP TO THE TOP OF JAR. THE SEAM IS REAL ROUGH LIKE IT WASN'T SANDED. THE COLOR IS A REAL LIGHT GREENISH. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME ABOUT IT AND APPROXIMATE VALUE ON IT.

Most of the masons pat jars are worth 5-15 but there are exceptions so a picture would be a great help to see what you have. Welcome to the forum
