O.K. guys and Gals, it's my turn to ask some questions. My friend came up with some bottles that I know little to nothing about as far as RARITY and VALUE. I know the age, contents and such but because most Sodas are of local interest only I can't get a handle on RARITY and VALUES.
# 1 & 2 are shown here together to get a feeling of size. The one on the Right is a standard size Hutch and is "Slug Plate" embossed: " McCARTHHY BROS & MARTIN / RIVERSIDE / N.Y." It is CLEAR ? COLORLESS and the embossing is is an unusually sharp arc. No base embossing. I looked on an Atlas and can not find a RIVERSIDE in N.Y.
The one on the Left is considerably taller, Blue Aqua and Private Mold embossed:" THE STANDARS BOTTLING WORKS (arc) / CHILDS BROS. / DU BOIS, PA" Base embossed "CB"
Both are embossed: "REGISTERED" at the front heel of the bottle.
I will post pix on 5 more bottles seperately. Thanks for any help you can give me. You guys and gals are great.
