Hello all.
I am a dealer of general antiques. I just came across a wonderful early book entitled "The History of Ink" by Thaddeus Davids. Its an 1860 first edition. The remarkable thing about this book is that it is signed ..."Gilman Henry Tucker from Thaddeus Davids 1860." I am quite sure ink collectors know the name Thaddeus Davids well. Gilman Tucker was the founder of the American Book Company a major publisher of textbooks and legal books amongst others. Its in very good condition the only damage being a small tear on the spine. It will be offered for sale soon, reply to this post if you would like more info.
Thanks!
