Ink well help

I recently purchased this ink for under $10. I noticed the grey tint to the glass and knew it would be a glower! But there is no embossing on it. Anyone seen this one and could shed some light on it would be appreciated!

Does it have a rough/sharp pontil scar on the base? The grey tint of the glass may indicate it is what's called, "flint glass".
