found these two L.H. Thomas Co. 846 inkwells or i think there inkwells, when i was walking a creek the other day. They are almost exactley the same but the bottom of one is pointed out and it wont sit flat. The bottem of the other is pointed in and it will sit flat.. Why is this?

Sometimes that just happens with blown bottles. Maybe they take it out of the mold too soon and/or it stuck to the bottom?
