This is a Jacob's Cholera & Dysentery Cordial. Embossed on all four sides.
I believe there is a variation of this bottle, one with a label. Does anyone have a picture of other Jacob's bottles.
Thanks for any info you can share.

Hi Jay and thanks for your input. Nice bottle and I like the hardened K.

I don't think it is the same Jacob's as, I believe, mine ventures from Georgia. I have heard of one with a label but this bottle has no room for a label as it is embossed, quite nicely, on all four sides. The bottle appears clean, as if it were tumbled but the Open Pontil is jagged and sharp.

Thanks for responding Jay and welcome to the forum.

Dont think they had a label, they used a paper wrapper. All the ones I have seen look like yours. They were certainly made by Bliss in New York but I had read they were distibuted out of Savannah GA. Probably need some more research on them. The one in Greer shows the wrapper and you can also see it in ODells book.
