I've seen in a previous post ,whittle marks?Please explain again or direct me to the post.One of these Readys has alot of whittling.

Hi Ron ,
Whittle marks as refered to ...is not actually whittle marks at all. But it is the bottle terminology that is used for the marks that were usually caused by blowing a bottle in a cold mold. I for one ( as do most collectors ) consider this affect very desirable and it adds to the overall appearance of the early glass. A colored bottle that is hammered with whittle in a sunny window is something to behold !!!
