How do you get rust out of a jar? I have read some people use baking soda and vinegar, lime-away or coca-cola. I have a few clear jars I want to get the rust and cloudiness out of but I don't want to damage the jars either.

Try oxy clean.... fill jar with water ,a little dish detergent. Shake well- every 3 or 4 hours. Use a sponge or soft brush and clean. Rust should come out. Cloudiness...no. Hope this helps.

I am also very curious what others have done to clean out the cloudiness or haze on jars. I saw a post on the bottle forum describing a process. Has anyone had success cleaning moderately hazy jars without tumbling? I have a few jars that I'd like to try something on.
