I thought I would picture this. Thought it would be a nice "go with" It retains a lot of it's original paint, but has an earlier repair. Was told it could be restored without much problem. It is a 1850's Jenny Lind Mirror. I am sure Jeff remembers it. Anyways here you go.
Just came across this. I havent been on ABN as much as I used to be. The past 6 months have put my attention to researching local bottlers in New Brunswick, NJ...
Anyway, thought this post was put together exceptionally well. It is a great subject of history and of particular interest to a classical musician such as myself. Thanks for taking the time to put this together for the world of bottle enthusiasts. []
Killer thread the information posted here is amazing. I should be geeting my firsy Jenny lind soon, the GI-104 I cant wait I havent had the opportunity to hold one for years. I ran across a cornflower GI-104 long before I was collecting bottles and passed as my knowledge told me that color isnt right its fake. A bottle collector a few secinds later bought it and me and my dad asked him and he was shaking he was so excited saying nothing but yes, it was real... A lesson learned I suppose.
