I was thrilled to death when I saw the results this tumbling job. The same guy who was involved in the Pa Rick controversy did the job. These two weren't terribly sick but still required alot or prep to preserve their original integrity.

I didn't take these they're still at the tumbler's the guy's house that did the work. Perhaps I can coax him to send me another. I guess he's happy about the the results , normally doesn't do this. Do have a before pic that shows the over-all dullness of the Hampton's...... here it is.....

I'll have to look for one of the utility.

Thanks Tim ! You think I hurt or helped it?

There's been alot of opinion posted here over the years. Would love to hear from others about this particular bottle....

its hard to judge what it looked like before from a photo (and after for that matter).
Most photos dont do justice to glass like that.

Splendid color in that Hampton's, I'm not much of a fan of tumbling, but it looks to have been done well and it really helps to bring out the color. If it were the same bottle in clear glass I'd leave it be because the surface etching would add character, but with that color hiding below the game is different.

I'll post better pics when I get it. It's a true olive green, similar in color to some of turn of the century european sealed wines, like Pernod Fils etc. I suspect its still a little wet, which is why it looks a little cloudy.
