Dug this recently here in Connecticut but have not been able to find out much about Mr. Harris - figured someone here would know [:)] Only damage to the entire bottle in the small lip chip you can see in the photo, got lucky on this one as most of the stoneware I dig here is busted up pretty bad.

The small ink is for scale.

Looks to be out of New Haven... same bottler made some nice cobalt soda waters it seems. If anyone has anything else please post up when you get a chance!

I have to agree w the gentleman from jersey, Its a really beautiful bottle. I like to think that it contained some kind of amazing beer with a higher than average alcohol content. Then imagine going back in time and drink a few while driving around with my horse and buggy takin in the sights in New Haven. Great find!

Nice find! I have only dug one stone beer from Mass., they are pretty elusive! Nice photo too, the lighting is perfect!
