As some of you may remember, I am going through a collection that I inherited slowly but surely. In it I came across this animal. I don't know what to make of it. It is pottery, and corked, so I guess it could be considered a bottle. It is about 11 1/2 inches long. Anyone seen one before? Know anything about them? Again, thanks for the help!!!!

Alot of these figural whiskey nippers are German in origin...

Jim / epackage has it pinned, it is a "Nipper" that bars and such gave away at special times like CHRISTmas. They usually had the business name somewhere. This one seems a tad large for a "Nipper" but maybe the volume isn't that much. That, IMO, is a VERY nice item.
